The Art Box

There are grey boxes all over town filled with cables and whatever. Some of them have been painted with floating subjects. This one is near a bus stop at Ruokasenkatu with consistent theme. I like these small details that makes everyday life a bit exciting and more colourful.

Definitely more interesting than grey box.

Clever title, Matti. I like coming upon "found" art like this, too. Here they haven't thought of that for the utility boxes like this (lots of graffiti, though), but most of our bus shelters feature art work like this. It makes things interesting and can be a day brightener while waiting for the bus.

It's my first chance to say welcome to the CDPB family. I hope you are enjoying photoblogging Rovaniemi. It's nice to see more of Finland!

I like this. I wish that they’d do it here!
